Getting to School

Arriving at School

Students arriving at school must enter the building and cannot leave campus. Persons leaving campus after arrival may not be admitted.

The doors to the school open at 8:30 am. There are to be no students in the building prior to that unless accompanied by a staff member. Between 8:30 and 9:05 am, students can eat breakfast in the cafeteria or report to the appropriate area for their grade level. There are no students in the halls prior to 9:05.

6th Grade: South Gym, sit according to first hour teacher
7th Grade: North Gym, sit according to first hour teacher
8th Grade: Auditorium, sit according to first hour teacher

At 9:00, students will begin to be released from their morning locations to go to class. Do not leave your area until the teacher releases you.
All bags, backpacks, blankets, large coats, and other bulky items must be stored in your locker before entering your first hour classroom.
First period begins at 9:15.

Bus Routes

We provide bus transportation for:

Non-transfer elementary students living 1.5 miles or more from their school; and
Non-transfer middle school or high school students living 2 miles or more from their school.

Buses may arrive up to 15 minutes after the scheduled stop time. Students should remain at the stop up to 15 minutes after the scheduled stop time. If students wait longer than 15 minutes, call 918-833-8100.

SET UP SAFESTOP

Download the SafeStop app from the App Store or Google Play.
Enter the school access code. (5C001)
Enter your child’s unique Student ID.
Select the bus or route name based on school communications preference you wish to track.
Create alert zones around drop-off and pick-up points.

You’re all set! You will be able to track the movement of the bus during active route times and receive notifications when the bus enters your custom alert zone(s).

Drop Off/Pick Up

Morning Drop Off

Students enter the building through the front doors and proceed to the cafeteria for breakfast.

Afternoon Pick Up

Students that are being picked up or walking home are to exit the school through the north door to the parking lot between Hale Middle School and the practice field. Students who ride a bus in the afternoon are to exit the South doors to the bus pick up line.

Please note: students will not be allowed to exit out of the west doors due to traffic safety issues.

Early Pick Up

In order to pick up a student before afternoon dismissal, the person picking up must be in Powerschool and show a valid picture ID.

Students will NOT be released to chaperones who do not meet this criteria.
